Give Me 7 Months...

I'll put the music on hold for a sec... and take some time to make moves... AND in 7 months I shall present the world with my first album

Its been a long ass year… trying to throw together an album with scheduling conflicts off studio sessions and college life (and all the stress that comes with that) to all the conflicting production that producers wanna work around an already written song…

I’m drained from all the writing and rushing and trying to put it in inside the studio only to come up with a compilation of songs and not a consistent album. So my goal is to get in tuned with my creativity and create an album that introduces the world to me, that lets everyone know who i am thru my music. And I definitely think 7 months is enuff time (aside from a special date that comes in 7 months and its not my bday) for me to create a masterpiece consisting of R&B, Hip Hop, Poetry, Spoken Work, and some experimental shyt i cant even began to explain…

And I’ll take this time now to reinvent myself and get the shyt around me as well as myself…together to get where Im headed.

Sorry about the hiatus but Im back...

Sorry to have kept you all waiting. But trying to keep up with Blogger, Twitter, Tumblr & Facebook... isnt easy at all! I appreciate each and everyone of my followers... even if yall dont come thru the site ofter to check out whats going on or to comment every post, thank you for following anyway.

Now on to whats been going on...

I've put myself into a reinventive mode... working on me and whats going on with me before i can fully get to where I wanna be. All drawn from my school's error which has put me in the hole about $15,000... so before i can move forward, get back in school and get back to working on music, i need to handle that issue which is taking its time getting fixed... i need something to fix that QUICK...

So the goals are

1. settle the issue with my school
2. to get back in school in the Spring (even if i have to transfer)
3. Release My album/mixtape in April 2010 (updates on the music probably in an upcoming blog)
4. and you know what should follow after the mixtape comes out

Thoughts flowing from my mind...
faster than this pen can write down the words that come from
this inspiration
that I gotta get out and turn it to words,
create something so beautiful...
drawn from these thoughts so vivid...
about no particular subject but about everything anyone could ever dream of...
sometimes its just words but other times its a story...
that read, that told the story of me...
mister poetic... he's just a thinker. writing words to explain
what sometimes can never be explained
The answer to those question... that never seemed to be asked
Writing... always writing

but this pad cant hold all my thoughts
and this pen doesnt have enuff ink for me to write
so i type
But theres too many distractions
I lose focus
Thoughts fade away
And the moment is gone
I take a step outta myself
Tryna recreate the feeling
Tryna recreate the moment
That got me to the thoughts
so i can write it out
or sometimes type it out
but i stop
