So many plans, so many things to do, where do I start?
Thinking bout the path I'm ready to pave as I look forward, I know there's no turning back. It's just this lust for life, this drive, I'm ready to fly, I'm ready to let go of all the pain and struggles and get to that place where I know its alright but they.... tryna shoot down my flight before it lands and I'll be damn if i let that happens... theres no way I can!

Rewind It back, start over... make changes, do it different, be 2 steps ahead leaving no room for yall to catch up. Naw no longer do i give a fuck... its about the grind and making my way to the throne thats left for nobody but me...... Shyt is crazy

Stop! Naw I cant. I'm too busy dreaming. To busy coming up with my next moves, making plans on what I gotta do. Naw there's no stopping me now...

So I'm off on this road... finding my way to this place I call better days. "Even the longest journey begins with a single step" so I revert back to square one since things have turned out so wrong, feeling the need to start over. How can I?

So many questions, where are the answers?...

Where am I going? Tryna get to my destiny. So I write it out, my thoughts, all of my dreams... and i keep on searching not knowing what I'm searching for... maybe i've found it... maybe its been there all along... or maybe there was nothing to search for cuz 1 day it would just be there... but that doesn't stop me from thinking...

"Its a long way to heaven but I gotta get there..." so this time around I'll take my time hoping to get it right... waiting on better days... I know those days are in my path...

Gotta keep dreaming... gotta keep pushing...

Entertainment: Alicia Keys - Doesn't Mean Anything (Video)

So Alicia Keys' video for "Doesnt Mean Anything" (the 1st single off of The Element of Freedom) finally premiered. ..You gotta love Alicia Keys... she always comes through with good music and has some creative ideas when it comes to creating the videos for the single. The anticipation is definitely there for this album... and you know its gonna be a great album bcuz thats all Alicia puts out.

Brandy Finally responded to me on Twitter

So yesterday it was a normal day of tweeting... I was watching 106 and park and enjoying the guess until New Boyz were brought it... not hating on them or anything but they just don't make music I wanna listen to and i wonder some times why certain artist have record deals. Well they played New Boyz video featuring Ray J... so i tweeted:



It was no way of me hating on Ray J or anything... I just didnt like that he was on the song with New Boyz cuz they suck... so Brandy responded:

of course i responded back and explained to her... that her & Ray J were some of my favorite artist and of course all the other Brandy fans came to defend Brandy not knowing that I'm a Brandy fan myself and its all love for Brandy & Ray J... Why else would Brandy be following me and be responding to me?

Brandy is 1 of my favorite artist and one of the only true talents that we have left in this industry, she is one of my inspirations and its all love... I still love her...

Im just mad that after all the updates trying to get Brandy to respond to me.. it took for me to say that tweet to finally get a response... definitely not how i expected my 1st twitter conversation with Bran to be like but it is what it is...

Still looking forward to some new music from Brandy....

Dante J Official Weekly News Update

D A N T E J - OFFICIAL WEEKLY NEWS UPDATE #1

I know some time has past since i said the hiatus was over but for a second I had become bored with blogging... and had no inspiration to blog. I'm mostly seeing the same blogs reposted over and over on different sites in my dashboard and havent been having much feedback from my followers (I still love yall though).... I NEED MORE FOLLOWERS! LOL. But if you have happened to read Sorry about the hiatus but im back and Give Me 7 Months you should have a slight idea of whats going on....

So what has changed since then...
1. The issue with my school has not but resolved and it doesn't look like it will be resolved anytime soon.
2. Spring 2010 semester is looking like it might not happen
3. I'm still going for that April 2010 release of my 1st mixtape/album

Whats new?
1. So I havent been in contact with my producers and there is no word on whether or not I'ma return to the studio and work on my album there.
2. I'm just gonna keep writing and listening to some instrumentals until i have about 50 songs done for my album to chose from.
3. The idea for my album which i'll talk about later is something different... i just need the production to be on point with this one...
4. I'm thinking about taking a trip to Georgia and visit my sister... it seems my album will get done alot quicker if i was down there.
5. I have a couple of demos lying around that i'm debating on whether to put a snippet up on the site or not.
6. I partially redesigned the site if you haven't noticed

So hopefully this is the beginning of me getting my site back on track... more blogs... more music... more videos... more events... more poetry... more everything... stay tuned!
